Ralco Agencies is the exclusive distributor in Israel, for the consumer products, made by Sharp Corporation and Zanussi. Between 2004 and 2006, Ralco Agencies completed a comprehensive three-phase strategic change for growth. During this change, Ralco Agencies became a holding & management company with the activities of Sharp and Zanussi being pushed down to subsidiaries. This change generated increased focus in the activities, that have become individual profit units and are poised for further expansion in the coming years.
Today, Ralco Agencies operates through these two subsidiaries and a newly established Internet entity, still within the “green house” of Ralco Agencies.
Ralco Consumer Products Ltd.: The exclusive importer and distributor in Israel of Sharp’s refrigerators, LCD TVs and microwave ovens.
Zen Agencies Ltd.: The exclusive importer of Zanussi’s built-in ovens, hobs, free-standing cookers, washing machines, dryers and dishwashers.
Odafim Surplus Center: An unique Internet entity, for on-line sales of surplus and lightly damaged goods. The sites detailed descriptions and photos of each individual item’s defects have proven popular with bargain hunters.
Serves as an outlet platform for ever increasing clientele of local importers and manufacturers.

Yaron Ruziak:

An experienced entrepreneur, in 1988, Mr. Ruziak introduced Sharp’s IT products into the Israeli market developing the brand from zero into a market leader.

From 1992 onwards, he repeated the feat, in a newly established company at Ralco Group, for Sharp’s consumer products. Establishing Sharp as one of the country’s leading brands.

In 1998, Mr. Ruziak took over Chef Agencies, the sole importer of Zanussi consumer products, a public company on the brink of financial catastrophe, which he reshaped into a profitable enterprise within one year.

Since 2004, after 3 years of absence from Ralco’s leadership, with the proven ability to turnaround failing companies, Mr. Ruziak acquired control of Ralco Agencies and following a comprehensive reformation of the company, he transformed the shrinking company into an aggressively growing, profit generating and market leader – again.

Mr. Ruziak has also established a startup high-tech company in the communications sector, which was sold to US investors.
Ilan Mizrahi:
